Starting a new blog

This is my third blog allready, but my first in English. The two before (one during my 5 month trip through South-East Asia and one during my stay of two and a half months in Australia) were directed towards my family and friends back home, who speak dutch, my own native language.
Over the years you get to know people in other countries and what do you know, these people don't speak dutch. And praise to belgians, most of them speak and read english.

So why this blog, i am abroad from time to time: travelling, but a lot of times also for my job. And i like to keep both friends in Belgium and abroad posted of what i am up to.
Here you will find stories of people i meet, things i hear or read and some pictures.
This is also a way for me to remember stuff, sometimes after a while, you start forgetting things.
Now, this blog is most likely not going to be completely up to date, since i might not always have a good internet access at the time i am visiting a certain place.
I might even trow in some other things that i am up closer to home, don't know yet, will see how this evolves.

Anyway, i am curious about the road i will follow in the next years. In a way, the road itself is what matters, not the final destination, in as far as that even exists. The road needs to be long, as to learn and evolve as a person. And with this blog i also hope to be able to reflect on parts that i have allready travelled, without hopefully lingering too much in the past...
